Introducing Call Forward Set the Time 

Call Forward Set the Time allows you to forward calls to a different number based on the time period that calls are being made to your home phone.



Features and Benefits 

Call Forward Set the Time allows you to forward calls to most numbers in Australia during different time periods, as specified by you!

  • Create your own ‘Time Period List’ and set the day(s) and time(s) when you want to forward calls to another number.
  • Choose up to 15 different time periods.
  • Forward calls to a different number for each time period.
  • You never need to remember to turn Call Forward on.


Activating this Service 

To activate the Call Forward Set the Time service, please visit the ‘Contact Us’ section on our website or call our Customer Care number. The service may take up to 48 hours to activate.



Using this Service 

Call Forward Set the Time is an optional enhanced service that can be added to your existing home phone services. Call Forward Set the Time is easy to use, using your PIN and the instructions below.


Personal Identification Number (PIN)  

  • Call Forward Set the Time requires a PIN to create or change Time Period Lists.
  • A default PIN will be issued to you when the service is connected.
  • We recommend you change your PIN as soon as possible.
  • Your PIN can be changed as often as you like.
  • Your PIN can only be changed from your home phone.
  • If you have an existing PIN for another home phone service, you can use this same PIN for Call Forward Selected Callers.

Changing your PIN  

  • Wait for dial tone.
  • Press * 30.
  • Enter the old PIN.
  • Press *, enter new PIN.
  • Press *, re enter new PIN, #.
  • Listen to the announcement confirming the PIN has successfully changed.
  • Hang up.

To turn Call Forward Set the Time On  

  • Wait for dial tone.
  • Press * 16 #.
  • Listen to the announcement confirming the service is on.
  • Hang up.

To turn Call Forward Set the Time off  

  • Wait for dial tone.
  • Press # 16 #.
  • Listen to the announcement confirming the service is off.
  • Hang up.

To check if Call Forward Set the Time is on or off  

  • Wait for dial tone.
  • Press * # 16 #.
  • Listen to the announcement confirming the status.
  • Hang up.

To create or change your ‘Time Period List’  

  • Wait for dial tone.
  • Dial * 87.
  • Dial PIN *.
  • Listen to the announcement for options.
  • Dial 9 *.
  • Listen to the announcement for instructions.
  • Enter list position number.
  • Dial *.
  • Listen to the announcement for instructions.
  • Enter the start day number for forwarding calls, then press * (For example to start on Monday then enter 1*. For Tuesday select 2*, etc).
  • Enter the start time for forwarding calls (the time must be entered in 24 hour clock format, for example 9:30am = 0930, 8:15pm = 20:15).
  • Listen to the announcement for instructions.
  • Enter the finish day number, then press * (For example: 1* or 2*).
  • Enter the finish time (in the same format).
  • Listen to the announcement for instructions.
  • Enter the forwarding destination number, including the area code, then press # (area code, phone number, hash).
  • Listen to the announcement confirming Time Period List has been created or changed.
  • Hang up.

To remove a setting from the ‘Time Period List’  

  • Wait for dial tone.
  • Press # 87.
  • Press PIN *.
  • Listen to the announcement for options.
  • Press 9 *.
  • Listen to the announcement for instructions.
  • Press 1.
  • Listen to the announcement for instructions.
  • Enter list position number, then press #.
  • Listen to the announcement confirming removal of setting.
  • Hang up.

To remove all numbers from the ‘Time Period List’  

  • Wait for dial tone.
  • Press # 87.
  • Enter PIN *.
  • Listen to the announcement for options.
  • Press 9 *.
  • Listen to the announcement for instructions.
  • Press 2.
  • Listen to the announcement for instructions.
  • Press 1 #.
  • Listen to the announcement confirming all numbers have been removed.
  • Hang up.

To check the number and time of one of your Time Period List entries  

  • Wait for dial tone.
  • Dial * # 87.
  • Enter PIN *.
  • Listen to the announcement for options.
  • Dial 9 *.
  • Listen to the announcement for instructions.
  • Enter the list position number, press #.
  • Listen to the announcement for information.
  • Hang up.


Costs of Using this Service 

This service has a monthly charge. For current charges, please use the ‘Contact Us’ section on our website or call our Customer Care number. Normal call charges will apply to calls forwarded using this service. Please refer to your call plan details as charges may vary.


Viewing Call Forward Set Time Service charges on your Bill  

Your Call Forward Set the Time service monthly charge is shown as a service charge, along with your line rental for your home phone service.

Can I have Call Forward on my mobile phone service?

  • Yes, however you can only the standard Call Forward option is available. Call Forward Set the Time is not available on mobile services. However, many mobile phones allow you to manage calls based on the time or the caller. For more information refer to your mobile phone user manual.

Does Call Waiting work with Call Forward Set The Time?

  • No, the Call Waiting tone will not be heard while using Call Forward Set The Time.

What do I do if I can’t remember my PIN?

  • If you have forgotten or lost your PIN, please use the ‘Contact Us’ section on our website or call Customer Care number.

What is the Time Period List?

  • A list of day(s) and time(s) you want to forward calls to another number.

Can I forward calls to different numbers for each period?

  • Yes, you can.

What is a List Position?

  • The Time Period List can have up to 15 different time periods (days and times). The list position is the position of the time period on the list.

Can I use more than one Call Forward feature at once?

  • Yes, although some features have a higher priority and override others. For example:
    • Call Forward Selected Callers will override all other Call Forward features.
    • Call Forward Immediate will override Call Forward Set The Time; Call Forward Busy; Call Forward No Answer.
    • Call Forward Set The Time will override Call Forward Busy and Call Forward No Answer.
