Introducing Call Control 

Call Control allows you to restrict certain call types that can be dialled from your home phone.



Features and Benefits 

Call Control is a security feature for your home phone service that allows you to restrict certain types of outgoing calls.

  • Add security to your home phone line by restricting calls.
  • Control the numbers your children dial.
  • Restrict who uses the phone.
  • Take control over your phone bill!


Activating this Service 

To activate the Call Control service, please visit the ‘Contact Us’ section of our website or call our Customer Care number. The activation of Call Control can take up to 48 hours.



Using this Service 

Call Control is an optional enhanced service that can be added to your existing home phone service. The Call Control service is user friendly and once activated you only need your PIN.


Personal Identification Number (PIN)  

  • Call Control requires a PIN to turn the service on or off.
  • A default PIN will be issued to you when Call Control is connected.
  • We recommend you change your PIN as soon as possible.
  • Your PIN can be changed as often as you like.
  • Your PIN can only be changed from your home phone.
  • If you have an existing PIN for another home phone service, the same PIN can be used.

Changing your PIN  

  • Wait for dial tone.
  • Press * 30.
  • Enter the default PIN.
  • Press *, enter new PIN.
  • Press *, re enter new PIN, #.
  • Listen to the announcement confirming PIN has successfully changed.
  • Hang up.

Turning on Call Control  

  • Wait for dial tone.
  • Press * 33 PIN #.
  • Hang up.

Turning off Call Control  

  • Wait for dial tone.
  • Press # 33 PIN #.
  • Hang up.

To check if Call Control is on or off  

  • Wait for dial tone.
  • Press * # 33 #.
  • Listen to the announcement confirming status.
  • Hang up.


Costs of Using this Service 

This service has a monthly charge. For current charges, please use the ‘Contact Us’ section of our website or call our Customer Care number.


Viewing the Call Control service charges on your Bill  

The Call Control monthly charge is shown as a service charge, along with your line rental for your home phone service.

What can I do if I cannot remember my PIN?

  • If you have forgotten or lost your PIN, please use the ‘Contact Us’ section on our website or call our Customer Care number.

How do other Enhanced Services affect the Call Control Service?

  • Call Forward, Delayed Hotline and Abbreviated Hotline services all override the Call Control service.

If I restrict outgoing calls, can I still dial 000?

  • Yes, you can. Calls to Emergency Services (000) override the Call Control service.
